"It was one of those days when it's a minute away from snowing and there's this electricity in the air, you can almost hear it. And this bag was, like, dancing with me. Like a little kid begging me to play with it. For fifteen minutes. And that's the day I knew there was this entire life behind things, and... this incredibly benevolent force, that wanted me to know there was no reason to be afraid, ever. Video's a poor excuse, I know. But it helps me remember... and I need to remember... Sometimes there's so much beauty in the world I feel like I can't take it, like my heart's going to cave in."
I can't believe I only got to watch this now, but it really was beautiful, in a twisted and fucked up way. Which is how I like beauty to be. Morbid.

This is one of the finest pieces of art ever produced, hands down. And it was Sam Mendes' first film ever. Can you believe that? I am so glad for you that you got the chance to experience it. Everybody on earth should watch it at least once. My favourite scene is Chris Cooper trying to kiss Kevin Spacey in the garage. If it weren't for that scene, Cooper's existence and Spacey's death would have been unjustified.
I absolutely loved how it portrays people's struggles to be absolutely futile. The beauty lies in vulnerability.
